We need a minimum of 24 hours advance notice for all cancellations or changes (for any reason). If you cancel within 24 hours of the start time of your booking, you are responsible for the full booking fee. When you book, you are agreeing to pay for the session unless you cancel on time.
We are open 7 days a week from 10am until 12am.
We have a gated parking lot attached to the studio on Hoke Ave (west side of the building). Street parking subject to availability located on Willat Ave. Please keep in mind that parking is always limited in LA; so we ask that you do your best to minimize the number of vehicles per group.

For the majority of bookings, your credit or debit card will be processed online via Stripe. Online bookings with a card attached are scheduled to process at the end time of your booking. For all other bookings, you can pay with cash or card when you arrive.

Yes! Call the studio for availability and a quote: (310) 836-8998. Keep in mind, we fill up quickly. Full day bookings should be made as far in advance as possible.
Studio A and Studio D are smaller. Both are approx. 235 SQFT and can accommodate up 6 people comfortably.
For bands with over 6 members (or if you prefer a little wiggle room), we recommend the larger studios, Studio B and Studio C. They are approx. 300 SQFT and can comfortably accommodate around 12 members.
If you are expecting over 12 in your group, call the studio so we can figure out the right accommodations for your band.
Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm all four rooms are $35 per hour. This is the Day Rate Special promo pricing and is valid every week at the same time.
In the evenings (4:00pm - 12:00am) and all day on Saturdays and Sundays, the smaller rooms (Studio A & Studio D) are $40 per hour and the larger rooms (Studio B & Studio C) are $42 per hour.
So you're looking at anywhere from $35 - $42 per hour.

STRAIGHT FORWARD PRICING WITH ONE FLAT RATE
At Musician's Choice Studios, you will pay one flat rate for everything that comes in the room. This includes a fully equipped drum kit (cymbals and all), three guitar amps (at least one cabinet), one bass rig, four vocal mics, mains, monitors, and a powered mixer. You can borrow cables, etc., as needed at no additional cost. To rent additional instruments (keyboard, guitars) there is an additional fee of $20 flat per instrument.
Yes! There is a special rate if you're coming by yourself. This includes drum practice, vocal practice, messing around on new equipment, etc. Solo = by yourself in the room.
Weekday Solo Special: $20/hour
Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm
For example, a solo rehearsal from 3pm - 5pm is $40.
Regular Solo Special: $25/hour
Monday - Friday 5pm-12am
Sat - Sun All Day

Solo bookings cannot be made using the online booking widget. Instead, please call the studio so staff can place you on the book and apply the solo discount: (310) 836-8998.
We can usually do a single hour if you don't need the full 2-hour minimum. This does not apply to bands or groups larger than one person.
We do our best to keep solo rehearsals in the smaller rooms, Studio A and Studio D. However, we'll fit you in where we can if neither are available.
Keep in mind that we do our best to save evening time slots for full bands booking 2+ hours. This means that for solo rehearsals in the evening, we ask that you reserve those sessions on the day of. If we have a room available, we'll happily accommodate.
Give yourself as much time as possible. We recommend giving yourself about 10 days if you have specific needs (need a big room, no flexibility on time) and even more time if that time slot is during prime hours (weeknights 6-10pm).
The online booking system only allows bookings up to 30 days in advance.
